A major emphasis at AG is in providing training in the use of contemporary emissions, meteorological and photochemical models. Alpine Geophysics has been actively involved in providing training programs to more than 30 state regulatory agencies, industrial organizations, and environmental consulting firms. In the past eight years, AG staff have given more than three dozen training seminars and multi-day workshops on the useof models such as the EMS-95, UAM-V, CAMx, Models-3/CMAQ, and the MM5. A mature set of course notes has been developed to accompany the various training modules and many include hands-on computer exercises with sophisticated models using realistic, applications-oriented examples.
